BPSC 70th Notification 2024 – Bihar Public Service Commission has released the notification for the 70th Combined Competitive Examination today. An announcement regarding the teacher recruitment exam is also expected soon. This exam will be conducted to fill a total of 1,929 posts, while earlier the recruitment drive was conducted only for 475 posts. Interested candidates can apply for these posts by visiting the official website.

This year, 200 vacancies are for Sub-Divisional Officer/Senior Deputy Collector. 136 vacancies have been offered for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Bihar Police Service). 168 vacancies have been given for State Tax Commissioner (Bihar Financial Service) and 174 vacancies for posts of various departments.

However, 393 vacancies have been given for Rural Development Officer (Bihar Rural Development Service Cadre). 287 vacancies have been reserved for Revenue Officer (Bihar Revenue Service), 233 vacancies for Supply Inspector (Bihar Supply Service), 125 vacancies for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC and ST) Welfare Officer and They have released 213 vacancies for the posts of various other departments.

The examination for the same is expected to begin in the second week of November. Vacancies and the number of positions can be changed depending on the category and department. The main exam is scheduled between February and March. The exam can be taken over multiple days and with multiple sets of quizzes. The questionnaire will consist of 150 questions.
